IEC working holiday vs young professionals visa

Hello,
I hope ive posted in the correct thread. Im a 24 year old Irish male and im applying for a visa to canada. Im a young professional and have received a job offer. I'm not familiar with anyone who has applied through the young professional route and im wondering if there are any advantages of applying through this route? Thanks in advance for any help.

Since you already have a job offer, the 'Young Professional' looks like the correct category for IEC. As far as I understand, the Working Holiday category is for applicants who do not yet have a job offer.

From the 2021 numbers,

Ireland — Young Professionals​

Quota: 500
First round of invitations: March 8, 2021
Final round of invitations: November 12, 2021
Invitations issued to date: 704
Spots available: 0
Candidates in the pool: 0

Ireland — Working Holiday​

Quota: 10,150
First round of invitations: March 8, 2021
Final round of invitations: November 12, 2021
Invitations issued to date: 3,028
Spots available: 0
Candidates in the pool: 3,044

So from the quotas, we can see that Working Holiday has more quota than Young Professionals. So that can be an advantage there. But since you have a job offer in hand, apply for Young Professional category, get an ITA and then apply for Work Permit. I believe that should be the correct process.
