Hello everyone,
I am an international student and have received a job offer that requires me to start full-time from May 1st. However, my last term runs from May 8th to June 18th, during which I'm only allowed to work up to 20 hours per week according to the regulations. I've tried discussing this with HR, but they are insistent on the immediate start date.
Should I consider disregarding the rule to work full-time for these 6 weeks? Also, could this potentially cause issues when applying for my Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) later? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
