Immiboards ― Express Entry draw# 169: Canada invited 5,000 candidates in Express Entry draw 169 held on December 9, 2020. Comprehensive Ranking System Score (CRS Score) for Express Entry draw number 169 was 469 points. 

Express Entry draw# 169 was an all program draw and the third consecutive draw where IRCC issued 5000 invitations for Canadian permanent residency.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off for this draw remained the same as the previous Express Entry draw. The CRS cutoff has remained at 469 points for two consecutive draws.

IRCC applied the tie-breaking rule to this draw as well. The date and time were June 4, 2020, at 22:26:05 UTC, which means anyone meeting the cut-off would have received an invitation.

With this draw, Canada has issued a record 102,350 invitations to apply in the current year. In the current year, the invitations have set up expectations for the upcoming year, with Canada set to invite more than 400,000 immigrations in 2021.

Canada has a goal to invite over 1.2 million immigrants over the next three years. Refer to Canada immigration plan 2021-2023. IRCC will likely conduct one more Express Entry draws in the current year.
