- Starting September 3, 2024, the approval of new temporary foreign workers for low wage jobs in Montreal will be frozen for six months
- Quebec has also set new limits on family reunification applications
- British Columbia BCPNP Health Authority stream may soon be limited to direct health practitioners only
- BCPNP is also revamping its international student stream starting 2025
