You need to show proof of funds for Canada Express Entry when you:

1. Submit your Express Entry profile (if you're not currently working in Canada with a valid job offer).
2. Apply for permanent residence after receiving an invitation to apply (ITA).

Proof of funds is not required if you have a valid job offer or are applying under the Canadian Experience Class
