Express Entry Draw Results

Canada conducts Express Entry draw every two weeks and invites applicants to immigrate to Canada.

All candidates in the Express Entry pool are ranked using a points-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Canada selects the highest-ranking candidates or candidates that meet the local labour demand from the pool and invites them to apply for permanent residence.

Each invitation round has a set of instructions that include:

• the date and time of the invitation round along with tie details
• the number of candidates that will get an invitation to apply in each draw
• which immigration program(s) are included in the round (some invitation rounds may only invite candidates for 1 program, for example only from Canadian Experience Class or the Federal Skilled Trades)

Candidates can check their score and then use this information to see how likely they are to get an invitation in the next round.

Express Entry is Canada’s online system developed to manage economic immigration programs. Candidates are ranked using a unique Comprehensive Ranking System based on Skills, Education, Language ability, Work Experience and other factors. Express Entry manages application three major economic immigration programs as follows:

• Federal Skilled Worker Program
• Federal Skilled Trades Program
• Canadian Experience Class

A candidate is entered in the Express Entry pool only if he/she satisfies the eligibility criteria of at least one immigration program.
