    • Express Entry draw# 165: Canada invites 4500 candidates for permanent residence
Federal Skill Worker draws are back in business. Canada conducted its fourth back to back FSW draw on October 14, 2020 and invited 4500 immigration candidates for PR on September 30, 2020.

Draw# 165 was an all program draw. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut off for this draw was the same as the previous FSW draw. The CRS cut off was 471.

IRCC applied the tie-breaking rule to this draw as well. The date and time were September 1, 2020, at 12:11:23 UTC, which means anyone meeting the cut-off would have received an invitation.

It is the first time since February 2020 that Canada has invited 4500 candidates. It looks like the trends have changed from CEC/PNP draws to FSW draws. Canada is looking to invite more candidates from the all program pool.

With this draw, Canada has issued 82,850 ITA's in the current year.
