BC PNP Tech Pilot invites 68 candidates in new draw

Immiboards ― British Columbia invited 68 candidates for permanent residence under BC PNP latest Tech Pilot draw on June 1, 2021.

British Columbia issued invitations to foreign tech workers and international students in this draw.

BC PNP issued a total of 68 invitations in the “SI-Skilled Worker”, “SI-International Graduate”, “EEBC-Skilled Worker”, “EEBC-International Graduate” categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Tech Pilot draw.

The provincial score cut off for this draw was 80. BC did not provide a breakdown of invitations issued in each category.

Summary of BCPNP New draw (Tech Pilot) (June 1, 2021):

SI – Skilled Worker – required a score of 80
SI – International Graduate – required a score of 80
EEBC – Skilled Worker – required a score of 80
EEBC – International Graduate – required a score of 80

All candidates who received an invite under this program must have an indefinite, full-time job offer with an employer in B.C.

There are specific criteria’s that one must meet to be eligible for Tech Pilot draw.

The job offer from an eligible employer must:

  1. Be valid for a minimum of one year (365 days)
  2. Have a minimum 120 days remaining at the time of application to the BC PNP

Processing times for 80% of BC PNP applications is 2-3 months from receipt. Tech Pilot applications have shorter processing timeframes.
