Immiboards ― British Columbia BCPNP has issued 374 invitations under Skills Immigration and Express Entry category of British Columbia BCPNP draw on August 3, 2021.

BCPNP issued 361 invitations in the S.I. – Skilled Worker, S.I. – International Graduate, S.I. – Entry Level and Semi-Skilled, EEBC – Skilled Worker, EEBC – International Graduate categories.

Further, BC also invited 13 candidates who work as retail and wholesale trade managers [NOC 0621] as well as restaurant and food service managers [NOC 0631] . 

The minimum provincial score cut off for this draw was 74.

The 13 candidates invited under retail and wholesale trade managers [NOC 0621] as well as restaurant and food service managers [NOC 0631] required a minimum score of 107 points.

British Columbia did not provide a breakdown of invitations issued in each category.

S.I. – Skilled Worker – required a score of 91
S.I. – International Graduate – required a score of 79
S.I. – Entry Level and Semi-Skilled – required a score of 74
EEBC – Skilled Worker – required a score of 89
EEBC – International Graduate – required a score of 77

British Columbia has invited 7041 candidates so far in 2021.

The British Columbia province has recently begun offering two separate rounds of invitations every month to meet the needs of different sectors within their provincial labour market. The first round is held every month which is a general draw.

In contrast, the second draw targets retail and wholesale trade managers and restaurant and food service managers. BC has high number of the number of people registered in these two occupations under BC’s PNP Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
