Immiboards ― Prince Edward Island conducted its scheduled draw on May 20, 2021 and invited 155 candidates in various categories of immigration.
89% of the invitations in this PEI PNP draw were issued under Express Entry and the rest were issued in Business Work Permit Entrepreneur category.
The next PEI PNP draw is scheduled on June 17, 2021.

Upon successful application, the candidates receive an additional 600 CRS points in their Express Entry profile. This virtually guarantees an invitation through the Express Entry system.

Canada ranks Express Entry candidates in the pool using a points-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). About every 2 weeks, IRCC invites the top candidates in the pool to apply for permanent residence during rounds of invitations.

PEI PNP EOI system
Candidates who want to immigrate through Prince Edward Island’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) need to register an Expression of Interest with PEIPNP program.
Once they register, they are eligible to receive an invitation through the Express Entry or Business/Entrepreneur category if they qualify.

Steps to apply for PEI PNP:
- Create an account and submit your profile to the Expression of Interest system.
- The highest-scoring, qualified candidates with a connection to Prince Edward Island will be invited to submit an application to the PEI PNP by our Office.
- Following a thorough review of the paper application submitted to the Office of Immigration, Prince Edward Island nominates successful candidates to apply to the Government of Canada for permanent residency.
